Hotels. Pool/Spa equipment, average % in Russia: swimming pools ~ 19,25%; saunas, bathhouses ~ 34,13%; Spa/Whirlpools ~ 8%. Artificial ponds, water attractions – less than 5%.
Fitness centers. Pool/Spa equipment, average % in Russia: swimming pools ~ 23,9%; saunas, bathhouses ~ 28,6%; Spa/Whirlpools ~ 8,3%. Artificial ponds, water attractions – less than 5%.
Public swimming pools. Share of public pools available to population provided - 15 to 50% depending on the region. Forecasted annual market growth averages to 10%.
Private sector. About 27.2 m sq. m. of private low-rise housing was commissioned in 2008. The tendency is as follows: main developers of villa communities carry out top price projects, supposed to have Pool/Spa products of one or more categories.
Aqua parks: There are 33 aqua parks under operation at this moment. It is planned to construct at least 20 aqua parks by 2012.
